Porcellino Gallery: a Boutique Bed and Breakfast in Florence which is also an Art Gallery, with 5 stylish rooms decorated by a team of renowned Italian artists and interior designers.

Porcellino Gallery is on the first floor of a 16th century palace called "Palazzo Cavalcanti", in the very heart of Florence, with a view over the old market square, Piazza Mercato Nuovo, also known as the Piazza del Porcellino (Porcellino is a little boar, the name is due to the bronze statue of a boar), at a few minutes from the Uffizi Gallery, from Ponte Vecchio (Bridge) and from Piazza della Signoria. The large windows offer a breathtaking view over these wonders.

When we created this B&B in Florence, our aim was to offer our guests a combination of comfort, contemporary art and design. The rooms at Porcellino Gallery Boutique B&B have been decorated with great attention to quality and comfort through a selective choice of Made in Italy art objects and materials.

Our Gallery wants to promote local Florentine artists and craftsmen who can use Porcellino Gallery as a showroom where they can exhibit their works of art.

Porcellino Gallery's guests can enjoy a large sitting room, where fresh fruit and drinks included in the room price are always available. Also, from 6.30 pm to 7.30 pm we organise a cocktail hour where we suggest a selection of wines produced at Villa Rignana, the estate owned by the same family.

We serve a delicious and top quality breakfast with local and healthy organic products.

For longer stays, Porcellino Gallery Boutique B&B can offer also a prestige accommodation in a 300 sqm apartment with 3 double rooms.
